It is the oldest university in Australia and has a strong reputation for academic excellence and research achievements. Overall I liked the high quality of academic programs, the supportive and engaging learning environment, the excellent research facilities, and the strong focus on student well-being and career development.

The University of Sydney is a great institution. There are many people here coming from different backgrounds and expertise. It’s important to build connections with friends, mentors and lectures – to open new opportunities and learning new things. It is also quite hard to make good connections and it is really up to you to reach out. USYD can do more on helping students connecting with others.
Overall, USYD is a great place and I recommend it considering other factors involved like it’s quality of education and facilities.

While state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and up-to-date research are an absolute plus to have in your field of study at university, a program that experientially instils the content in you, prepares you to readily take on the world, tops it all.
Sydney University accomplishes this by aiming to understand how each unit of study is relevant in the current world, and develops them accordingly. While this is true for almost every degree at the University from my observation, a few things in my experience truly set my engineering degree apart. There is a wholly separate unit running through the duration of the course that is dedicated to developing career prospects and etiquettes of aspiring engineers. Moreover, they hardly shy away from statistics that show a greater percentage of engineers opting for an alternate career path post graduation, and instead use it to further emphasise that the professionalism and leadership honed is what will help everyone succeed.

The program was extremely great and organized. The faculty and the entire team are excellent. I really liked the teaching methods at my school. Every single person involved in teaching is highly experienced. Overall, it is extremely great.
