What are the Best Masters in Management in Europe in 2026?

Instead of focusing on one Master’s in Management ranking, we’ve analysed the top ten European programmes on the QS Business Master’s: Management ranking and the prestigious Financial Times Masters in Management ranking. Schools that appeared in the top ten of both lists were considered for inclusion in our list.

Finally, we also explored student ratings of business Master’s programmes on EDUopinions. We gathered data from student reviews of Master’s programmes in the management category, and ranked the resulting institutions by their overall rating. The business schools from our top ten that also appeared on the FT and QS rankings were also included on our list.

Consequently, our collection of the best Masters in Management in Europe reflects not only global ranking and international reputation, but also the programmes that students themselves rate the highest. Where possible, we’ve included student reviews on the school’s flagship Master’s in Management programme. If an MiM review wasn’t available, we’ve included reviews of other Bachelor’s or Master’s programmes.

Ratings for each school are calculated by the average overall ratings for Master’s in Business & Management programmes, which may include management-adjacent subjects such as finance and marketing.

HEC Paris (4/5 average Master’s Rating)

HEC Paris

HEC Paris is consistently ranked among the top business schools in Europe, and its Master in Management (MiM) – also known as the Grande Ecole programme – is a standout choice for ambitious students. Based just outside Paris, the school offers a flexible two-year curriculum with over 20 specialisations, including niches such as entrepreneurship, data science, and sustainability and social innovation.

The MiM programme also strongly emphasises real-world experience, with students typically completing one or two internships during the programme; there’s also the option for students to take a gap year between years one and two to complete work experience. HEC’s proximity to major international companies in Paris makes networking seamless, and the school’s alumni network spans 60,000 professionals worldwide. There’s a reason this programme tops QS’ best Master’s in Management ranking!

Super diverse

It’s a super diverse and fascinating environment with tons of chances, but the management is very French, and the facilities like the gym and classrooms are not great. This makes the academic side quite ineffective. Plus, we’re graded on a curve, leading to a competitive and sometimes toxic atmosphere. Despite all that, the benefits definitely overshadow the drawbacks.

So many opportunities

Bocconi has been an amazing journey for me, filled with growth and opportunities, both on a professional and personal level. The professors teaching the International Management Master’s are of really high quality and they were able to transfer some much “knowledge that matters”, thanks also to the many teamworking experiences during the course. Bocconi also allowed me to experience a double degree program with ESADE, which taught me a lot both in terms of professional development, as well as allowing me to expand my network of international students even further. Overall, Bocconi unleashed plenty of opportunities I could not foresee before joining the university and that I’m really grateful for and excited to dive into.

How EDHEC helps me Relocate and Find Job in France

I am a Fall 2023 intake student at EDHEC Business School, pursuing an MSc in Marketing Management under the Business Management track. As a Chinese student with DALF C1-level French proficiency, I had high expectations for my business school experience—and EDHEC has met them all.

One of the highlights of my time at EDHEC has been its exceptional Career Service. Nearly every week, companies come to campus for networking events, recruitment sessions, and industry talks. Since I am particularly interested in the luxury industry, I was thrilled to see companies like Chanel, Porsche, and Louis Vuitton actively engaging with students. These opportunities played a crucial role in my job search, and I am grateful that I was able to secure a job in France after graduation, aligning perfectly with my initial career goals.

Beyond academics and career development, my EDHEC experience has been incredibly rewarding on a personal level. I have made wonderful friends from around the world, and one of my European classmates even invited me to celebrate Christmas with her family—a truly heartwarming experience.

Overall, EDHEC has provided me with a top-tier business education, strong career support, and a vibrant international community. I am truly grateful for this journey!

Double degree opportunities

What I like most about SKEMA’s PGE program is the opportunity to earn a double degree with prestigious universities like NYU or UCLA. I chose the course with NYU and the experience has been transformative. The academic requirements are high, but the access to global professional networks and prestigious internships is worth it. The administration could improve communication, however, especially when it comes to information about internships and international exchanges. Ultimately, though, the added value of a double degree is inestimable.

Internship Opportunities

What struck me most about this school was the quality of the internships offered. I was able to complete a six-month internship in a large company in Paris, which really boosted my CV. The courses are also very interesting, with lots of real case studies. However, I find that the school administration is sometimes unorganized, which can be frustrating. Despite this, I highly recommend SKEMA for those who want practical, job-oriented training.

Great experience!

Doing the Master in Management at ESCP has been a life-changing experience for me.
The things that I liked the most about it are:
-International environment: being able to meet and collaborate with people from many different nationalities was very enriching. On top of that, having studied in multiple campuses helped me grow both personally and professionally.
-Career service: ESCP has a broad range of activities organised on a weekly basis, going from in-house events to company visits (including case studies, presentations, etc.). This allowed me to find a job even before graduating.

On top of that, I’ve been able to connect with many brilliant students and build strong relationships with them.
So, to summarise, doing my master studies at ESCP has been a great experience in all aspects of my life!

My master’s degree ESCP Paris

Firstly, I would like to point out that I previously studied at ESSEC so this is my second major business school, and here is what I think about it:
The school regularly organizes events with partner companies, facilitating meetings with professionals and influential alumni. In addition, mandatory internships and consulting projects immerse us directly into the business world.
However, the program is intensive and requires a strong capacity to adapt, especially with the change of campus each semester. It can be both challenging and tiring, but the exposure to different cultures and business environments is invaluable.
But I was already used to this when I was at ESSEC.

From an international student’s perspective, the blend of French and English is challenging yet rewarding.
