The campus has been renovated and is very functional and modern from now on.
Reputation of essec is a plus
The program I did gave me the opportunity to start in Singapore. I got the chance to know all the students that started there and we bonded and made some friends for life. The career opportunities that ESSEC also gave me were unbelievable.View more
I am an ESSEC student since 3 years and I think that the BBA program is very good for people who want to work in management domains just after high-school. The courses are great and very interesting. I like the fact that you can choose what you study. ESSEC business school has one campus in Rabat and one in Singapore which makes it a very international university.View more
I think the best thing about Essec is that it’s not focusing on academics rather it emphasizes on future job mindset and professional experiences..
The classes are interesting and we have plenty of workshops attributing to different sectors..
The campus is very nice with a good cafe and wonderful library.
The only problem is the location of the campus. It’s quite far from Paris.
ESSEC is a school rich in the diversity of its programs, teachers and students from all over the world.
The campus is very large and community life is still very much alive.
The BBA program is for me very complete and also allows a specialization in 3rd and 4th year.
I totally recommend the school.
It’s a really nice business school very known in France, for the International and Professional environnement. There is a large choice of courses and they are all interesting and useful.
It’s a very prestigious school.
Pretty good business school which gives the opportunity to develop your skills a lot. Yet one might argue about the lack counter opinions about some topics. For example you study mainly one kind of economic thought.View more
A third-year student at ESSEC Global BBA, I offer my feedback on my education journey so far. The ESSEC BBA is the perfect program for a student who wants a direct immersion into both practical and theoritical transdisciplinary know-how. A wide arrange of courses are available, which enables students to construct from a versatile background and know-how. It is also necessary to highlight ESSEC’s proximity and privileged ties with prestigeous firms (Finance, Consulting, Luxury, etc). I personally was able, thanks to ESSEC’s brand on my CV to do my first internship in Finance (Banking) in Singapore.
The final interesting part about this curriculum, is its international aspect. ESSEC have a wide range of prestigeous partners on the four corners of the globe. Thus going on an exchange for a semester abroad, is a unique opportunity, and to some, a life-changing experience.
ESSEC Business School is a French school located in the Parisian area (Cergy), far from the city center but accessed by several means of transport (buses, trains…). It is known for being one of the high-ranked business schools in Europe and for offering several programs.
The one I chose is the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) which is obtained after four years of studying : the two first years are based on a general curriculum followed by all the students, then the two last years combine professional experiences and courses chosen by the student itself depending on the subject he or she wants to specialize in. All of this goes with exchanges and internships to do during these academic years. The courses are diverse and different. The are many subjects such as Finance, Marketing, Accounting and Entrepreneurship, but also some subjects that are not directly related to business, just like history or languages. The school organizes often some business seminars and workshops.
Concerning the extra-academic life, Cergy is an area full of students. There are several universities and engineering schools around, which makes a dynamic and fun place to live as a student. The student organizations in charge of other students’ social lives always prepare enjoyable events and unforgettable parties at cheap prices. ESSEC Business School has also this special feature to count a large number of international students among its community. The school has a pioneer spirit that goes together with a special open-mindedness and respect of others.
Despite the inconveniences that can reflect the school (such as the location which is not really in the centre of Paris), it is still an experience that marked the majority – to not say all – of its students and alumni. I will for sure recommend it for others because it represents, in my opinion, the fundamentals of business studies and of students’ daily life.
Thanks to ESSEC, I was able to travel a lot, whether for internships or university exchanges. The experiences abroad are for me very important. They are both rewarding and allow to meet people from different cultures.View more
