Ghent University is an ideal location for students. It has excellent facilities and a picturesque campus, and it's set in a charming town. The faculty are dedicated to supporting students and making sure they understand the material. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my choice to study here. I feel lucky to be part of such a wonderful university.
KU Leuven provides a rigorous academic experience with a strong international atmosphere. The programs are demanding but intellectually enriching, encouraging independent study. While administrative processes can be complex, the overall environment supports growth for motivated and self-driven students.
Wide range of knowledge acquired and even though this comes at the price of a heavy workload, I'd say it's worth it. The professors are very approachable and it is generally a health learning environment. For international students, the tuition is an absolute steal, given the quality of education.
Nothing to show
To live and learn with international students has been a great experience. However, the professors speak an English which is hard to understand, their lecturers are basically useless. The exams instead are extremely difficult, we were intimidated by the professors with discouraging comments. Taking the exams was loud and chaotic, they did not manage to organise that properly. It looks like a previously good school and program is going down hill. There are passing rates of 15%. Therefore, a interesting, dedicated student body in a bad university.
Nothing to show
Being here has been such a wild ride. Moving to a new country every semester and learning local languages has been both fun and challenging, but it's kinda exhausting too. Still, that hustle gives me an adrenaline rush I low-key love! The best part has been seeing our business ideas come to life and when people genuinely appreciate and engage with something we’ve built, it makes all the hard work worth it.
