The University of Antwerp sits at the heart of Belgium and Europe, in a city built on global trade: the port of Antwerp-Bruges is one of the largest in the world, and Antwerp is home to over 170 nationalities, more than New York City. Beyond its medieval streets and striking baroque architecture, Antwerp is a lively, modern metropolis with a vibrant social scene and a constant mix of cultures. English is spoken everywhere, and picking up some Dutch during your stay is a great way to feel like a local in no time.
This international, open-minded spirit runs through the University of Antwerp itself. As a young, research-driven university, UAntwerp combines high-quality education with research that has real societal impact, all underpinned by a strong commitment to sustainability, inclusion and academic freedom.Show more
