Studying at ICHEC while working has really opened my eyes to how demanding the professional world can be. Of course, as a student worker I don’t hold a high-level position, but I put in the same effort and commitment as if it were my real job. Balancing both isn’t always easy, especially when I get called into work last minute and still have to keep up with my coursework and deadlines. It pushes me to stay organized and manage my time well. That said, I really love having a foot in both worlds and it makes what I learn in class feel a lot more real and applicable, and I think it’s given me a perspective I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise

Studying at ICHEC was a real pleasure. You have the opportunity to leave Belgium almost every year (B1, B2, B3 & M2). During your first year, you can spend the month of July in New York. In my second year, I went to Benin for a development project, which was an interesting experience in learning how others live. My B3 year was spent on my Erasmus in Spain, where I learned Spanish, and now I’m heading to Oxford for my second Erasmus. I also had the opportunity to be the treasurer of the student council two years in a row, which was/is very helpful for getting my internship in Finance.

This bachelor’s degree gave me the right tools to pursue a master’s degree and ultimately build a career in energy engineering.
The Business Engineering bachelor’s program is broad yet comprehensive, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to tackle a wide range of challenges.

I had a great experience at ICHEC. What stood out most is how up to date the programme is the courses reflect what companies are actually dealing with today, especially around sustainability and innovation. Sustainability isn’t treated as a side topic here; it’s built into the way subjects are taught and into the projects we worked on.
We regularly worked on real-life cases rather than purely theoretical exercises, which made a big difference in how much I actually retained. One highlight was a sustainability challenge where we worked in teams on a concrete problem and had to defend our solutions it pushed us to think practically and creatively at the same time.
The professors are approachable and the environment encourages you to question things and propose ideas rather than just absorb content. Overall I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a business school that takes innovation and sustainability seriously.

The programme is a bit complicated but it gives some good opportunities such erasmus and internships.

Overall, I’m quite satisfied with this bachelor’s degree in business management. However, it is rather demanding in certain areas such as math, languages, and accounting.

But it leaves good room for international opportunities (an exchange in the first year of bachelor’s, an internship in the Housing Project in the second year, and an Erasmus exchange in the third year, plus exchanges in the master’s program and thesis).

This is an excellent school offering a high standard of education. The professors are available, attentive, and provide excellent support to students throughout their studies. The courses are high-quality, well-structured, and allow students to acquire concrete and applicable skills. I recommend this school to anyone looking for a rigorous program in a stimulating environment.

I’ve had a really good academic experience here. Being able to choose your own electives in finance, marketing, international business, or audit is a huge plus, and the international opportunities (Erasmus and internships) are both accessible and genuinely valuable. The coursework is demanding, but by Master’s level, professors are much more approachable and open to discussion.
The main downsides are more practical. the campus is quite far from everything, so student life isn’t as lively as at other universities. That lack of student life can feel a bit isolating and demotivating at times. Also, while the mandatory 4-month Master’s internship is useful, it feels a bit short for a full 5-year degree.

The university is very cool. The course are interesting and there is a lot of practice so we can see the meaning of each lessons. One of the best part is that ICHEC have a Junior Enterprises where we can get a real work experience, legitimate for the CV.
The only thing is the campus which is quite far from the center of Brussels.
