Great university, focusing on self discovery. The learning platform they use is very user-friendly. Most professors are very considerate and open to questions. A lot of them are very enthusiastic on their subject as well.

The Pharmacy program at Ghent University offered a well-balanced mix of theory and practical experience that truly prepared me for a professional career. The curriculum was thoughtfully organized, allowing me to build a deep understanding of pharmaceutical science while developing essential clinical and research skills.

The professors were knowledgeable and approachable, always ready to share their expertise and guide us through challenging topics. The laboratory sessions and internship placements were especially valuable, giving me hands-on experience and confidence in applying what I learned.

What I appreciated most was the wide range of subjects covered, which provided a comprehensive view of the pharmaceutical industry. The opportunities for international collaboration and participation in research projects also made my studies more enriching. Looking back, studying Pharmacy at Ghent University was an excellent choice that gave me both knowledge and practical skills for my career.

At Ghent University, I felt truly guided by the psychology faculty, we have experts who are not only passionate researchers but also approachable mentors who make learning personal and inspiring. I had an amazing experience!

As a PhD student, being part of the department of Biochemistry and Microbiology of UGent I am very pleased with my experience so far. This programme is placed in a setting with leading scientists of the field that lead innovative projects that push the boundaries, providing continuous support by having access to knowledge and expertise of different fields.
Also, great care is taken for research integrity, good lab practices and data management plans to ensure the safety of everyone’s work results and their authenticity.
It is an inspiring and motivating environment for young researchers with plenty of training opportunities to improve both their hard and soft skills and at the same time creating a strong network. I would definitely recommend it to others.
