Excellent university, with experienced professors, professionals in the areas they teach and with an incomparable teacher-student proximity. It is a very good university for International students since thet offer Portuguese classes and some subjects are in English. In terms of infrastructure, despite being small and not having all the conditions and equipment, it brings together a pleasant environment for studying - in addition to very good cleaning conditions and modern rooms. At the administrative level, it is organized. As for the students, many are very interested in being there, excellent students and enormous dedication.
It is a good university to combine two main areas, management and technology. It has international teachers and the conditions are being improved in last few years. The Campus is also very well located.
Some teachers don’t care at all about the students, they just care about finishing their lecture program. The university as a very poor network connection through the entire campus. On the other hand, I enjoyed the program since you had one work assignment and one exam, only if you had under 7,5 you fail
I believe Nova SBE offers many unique extra-curricular opportunities. For example, through this university, I have already secured two internships that allowed me to explore my future career paths. I also joined a student-led no-proft organization, Noma Consulting, which allowed me to work on a real-life consulting case with a market-leader company in Portugal. All of this in my first year. For gaining experience it is absolutely great. However the course itself is not my favourite part. Having done an international programme during school a felt it was a bit boring and unrelated to my degree, at times. But for those coming from Portuguese system this might be different. The student life, location, and teachers are also amazing. I definetly would recommend for students looking for higher education in Portugal!
What brought me to this university was firstly its national ranking and word of mouth of family members. I have attended it for 2 years now and it has been a great experience. The professors are helpful and the curriculum is very interesting although I find our mathematics level too advanced for business degree. The infrastructure is great and in an excellent location. There are many clubs to join and opportunities for the students to take advantage of. In site parking only available to masters students and higher and street parking is extremely rare and quite expensive close to the university.
I am currently a 3rd year student at Forward College and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to other students. The interactive approach of Forward where questions, debate, and discussion were encouraged enhanced my learning so much and I feel like I genuinely enjoyed every class. Having the experience of living in 3 different cultures, surrounded by people from all over the world made this experience even more special and helped me develop and grow in so many ways. Another aspect I have loved are the professors. Speaking with friends at other university I am so grateful to have teachers that actually know us, are excited to teach and interact with us, and will always take the time to help you.
