Founded in 1972, with over 9000 students and various schools, this Business School stands out, with 6 Bachelor programmes and 12 Masters of Science and partnerships with more than 50 universities accredited by AACSB, EQUIS or AMBA. In terms of environment, ISCTE has a lot of students from other areas, so it promotes the relationship between students of completely distinct disciplines and forms a healthy bond between them. Additionally, it is accredited by A3ES, AACSB, EUA and AMBA. On top of that, it is the fourth-best business school in Portugal, currently rated by Financial Times as the 80th best business school in the world.
Interesting program with good teachers and interactive lectures. Fine facilities with state of the art technology. The school social landscape is very nice with easy going people. Overall I had a good experience.
View moreSome teachers don’t care at all about the students, they just care about finishing their lecture program.
The university as a very poor network connection through the entire campus.
On the other hand, I enjoyed the program since you had one work assignment and one exam, only if you had under 7,5 you fail
I like the teachers, the infrastructure and the quality of teaching.
I dislike the fact of too many pigeons near the microwave and eating zone.
Also, the location is good because is near deverão transports.
Regarding the college, it is prestigious, it has a name, and it was clearly one of the main reasons for my choice. The professors are very accessible, they are available to help, and as in all universities, there are good and less good professors. The school environment is very good. Overall I am satisfied with the teaching, but the biggest reason is prestige. I recommend it as an institution, but I don’t recommend my master’s degree.
View moreISCTE has a very good academic environment and the people are very friendly. The teachers are always willing to help and there is a great sense of community. It was a very good experience and I am very proud to say that I studied at ISCTE
View moreMy experience was very positive. All the subjects were well taught and the teachers were good overall. The facilities are normal for a university, which is also good. Regarding student life, there are always parties and events going on. The university is also very international, there are students of all nationalities and they are always well received and well integrated.
View moreAfter finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, I was searching for an opportunity to learn more about the Creative Industries – how they work and how I could be a part of that. The Master’s Degree in Art and Culture Management in ISCTE was the perfect choice.
View moreIscte Business Schools undoubtedly stands out for its academic and social life. Any student can have the feeling of home when on the campus, among with the other students, and there is strong support between the entire student community, whether in studies or in adapting to university life.
Our business school is well recognised worldwide, and it has been growing on world rankings. Besides the good environment that the school provides, professors are also well prepared and they always promote a close relation with their students, in order to satisfy their needs without any constraints.
The school’s fees, in general, are not that expensive when it comes to bachelor programmes, since it’s a public university – with values around 700 euros per year. The location of the school is perfect, right in the heart of academic life in Lisbon, next to our university city campus. There are a lot of transport and places to visit, eat or just have a walk.
The course, in general, is a little bit difficult, but possible, and with a final feeling of actually knowing what you have studied, which is great for our professional path.
My experience there was and still is one of the best surprises I had, I met my best freinds there, I really like my course, and I just feel good there. It just feels right.
View moreI am in my 2nd year of the Political Science degree at ISCTE, Portugal. In general, the university promotes a good international environment as well as several offers, mainly in the employment field, but they also bet on our evolution and preparation for the labour market, for example, through conferences. As for the teaching itself, I have a very broad opinion, because it is very subjective since it reflects what I feel and think. As with everything, there are teachers that I liked and that I didn’t like, subjects that I didn’t have the slightest interest in and others that caught my attention, questionable evaluation methods, others that are fair. Anyway, we have a whole panoply of opinions just like in all other universities, it’s normal. The university has a students’ association and within this branch there are groups for each course, which promote not only their course but also integration activities. Generally speaking? I like ISCTE, its professionalism and the student environment.
View moreThe Master’s is doing better than expected, it’s quite hardworking, but it naturally feels worth it.
I don’t regret the excellent choice and would do it again.
I really like the effective way the classes are given and how there precious is a direct relationship with the cooperating teachers, from 0 to 10 I would unanimously recommend 12.
