Journalism at WWU is pretty good
Western Washington school is a good school in a lot of ways. It is very open to all identities and makes all feel welcomed. I am in the journalism program and it is a very competitive but uplifting program at WWU. People are open to ideas and willing to hear what you have to say. The professors are extremely helpful, and office hours are very flexible! The three main newspapers are very well written and edited and a blast to be a part of. It is part of the major to at least write for the main newspaper The Front, but for the other two, Klipsun and The Planet, you can be about of for the environmental journalism major or just for fun. All in all pretty good experience so far, excited to learn more.
