My Review of the University of the People
As a Rohingya refugee student living in one of the largest refugee camps in Bangladesh, gaining access to higher education once felt impossible. The University of the People changed that. It has not only given me the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration but also empowered me to become a voice and a leader within my community.
What I appreciate most about UoPeople is its mission—providing quality, tuition-free education to students regardless of their background or location. The online learning model is flexible and ideal for someone like me who balances studies with responsibilities as a school principal and a human rights activist.
The professors are experienced and genuinely committed to helping students succeed. Their feedback is constructive, and the course materials are academically strong. The interactive forums and global network of students make the experience rich and diverse, despite being entirely online.
What truly stood out to me is how UoPeople treats every student with dignity. It gives hope where there was none. It values education as a tool for empowerment, and that deeply resonates with my mission to uplift my fellow refugees through free education.
I strongly recommend UoPeople to students around the world—especially those facing hardship. This university doesn’t just offer degrees; it opens doors to a future filled with purpose, dignity, and impact.
