As a foundation student at the University of the People, who recently started his Computer Science degree in September 2022, It’s difficult to say what’s the best part about my program at the UoPeople, the reason being that all the courses so far have been wonderful.
One of the many things I’ve learned during my stay at the University is how to effectively stay on top of my game by consistently scheduling my time. I’m amazed at how much I achieve on a day-to-day basis by just managing my time well. I now plan every bit of my day’s activities instead of living on whims.
Another wonderful thing about my program at the Uopeople is the wealth of knowledge that comes to you by just interacting with fellow coursemates on our discussion platforms where we share ideas, critique those ideas, and share constructive feedback. What else would you expect from a University whose population is from all walks of Life?
All of my instructors are amazing. Shout outs to all my instructors. Danielle Beamon (Online Education Strategies), Ali Al Faris (Programming Fundamentals), Jessica Rouen (IntrostatisticsWithR), Bhaskar Palit (College Algebra), Christopher Expósito Izquierdo (Programming 1), and a whole host of other amazing instructors. Their response time is second to none. The extra length they go to ensure you understand a concept is noteworthy. My wonderful course advisor, Poojitha, is just an email away. She’s been my best ally in terms of academic issues and what to do.
Overall, it’s been a wonderful experience. #Uopeople All the Way
