University of Maryland Global Campus, formerly known as University of Maryland University College is an accredited online college in Maryland, U.S.A, that provides a wide variety of courses in order to earn a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree or certificate. I personally like that they have a 100% acceptance rate because that allows students to successfully enrol from all over the world. As an undergrad Communications student, I have had the pleasure of learning so much that I can apply in the real world. UMGC has taught me to be self-disciplined, prioritize my school work, and tap into my creative side. I also love how helpful the professors are. They are always available and willing to help you, to answer any questions you have, and most importantly, cheer you on. I can confidently say that my grades have never been better and I’m grateful for that. In terms of career prospects, I’ve always loved creative writing, and through multiple writing courses, UMGC has allowed me to improve drastically on my writing abilities and now I can confidently consider a career in writing, public relations, content creation, and more.
