It’s great to be a management major at ASU. Whenever I tell people my major, they respect it because it’s a difficult and very useful major. The management program is unique because it teaches us to apply all areas of business within a single major. To run businesses effectively, we need to understand finance, accounting, communications, marketing, and international trade. The workload is heavy but manageable. The curriculum here is really exciting! I love my classes and the business school buildings are on the cutting edge of technology. We have just built new business premises, so it’s nice to study there. The business school is generally very proactive in obtaining student internships and job opportunities through job fairs and multiple career development events.
View moreI am majoring in Business Administration and Introduction to Business is the only course I have taken that is related to my major; The prerequisites include the rest of my courses. For the most part, the homework was not difficult and took time. I am making sure this semester is as memorable as possible as my colleagues have informed me that the bar will be set very high next semester. The facilities are well equipped and all easily accessible.
View moreGetting into my business school program is very difficult and selective, especially if you are already studying at ASU. In order to transition to a new program, I had to overcome many hurdles and meet several requirements before I could even be considered for the program. I liked that it was a challenge. It shows that the school really cares about the students it has. The main eligibility criteria were prerequisites, GPA and management commitment. My program does not have an abnormal application process. My advice for admission is to work hard, keep good grades, and engage in a way that allows you to lead and serve. Apply early!
