I love UTSA. Going into college, I didn’t think I would be so loyal to a university as I have seen a lot of other alumni from different colleges. I love the university’s student and faculty diversity, the beautiful campus, and the overall school spirit. I will be a proud runner for life 🤙
View moreI was privileged to be admitted in this great institution to study sales and marketing. I had a good experience here. The lecturers took us through the course work within the set time and all the continuous assessment tests and end semester examinations were all well administered. I also had an opportunity for attachment and internship before and after graduation respectively. This also enabled me to gain more experience in my area of study. The hostels in this university are well furnished and are so decent. The students are able to access them at affordable rates. Sports and other social activities are also encouraged in this university and I will always recommend it
View moreUTSA has a great engineering program, with it being a challenging but rewarding experience. The university gives you many resources to aid you in your program and encourages you to use them often. I have found them useful at times when I was stuck in a tough subject or I needed to get some studying done. Most professors are great and really seem to care about your learning enough to go out of their way to help you, but there are also some professors that seem like they would rather not give the class, don’t really care about your learning or helping you, or are really tough about even the smallest details. Overall UTSA is a great university with a great engineering program and, while there are some professors that could improve, most of them care about your learning and help you reach your goals.
View moreUTSA is overall an inclusive and welcoming community. I received so much support and encouragement from my professors, scholars programs, health services, and overall resources offered by the school.
View moreI switched my major to sociology after my first semester at UTSA because I loved learning about the whys and hows of society and people. Not only did my professors display clear and concise knowledge, but they also displayed their passion for the subject, which added to their ways of teaching and made the classes all the more interesting to learn every day.
I would recommend this school to others because the university would always host entertaining and engaging events for students, along with providing necessary resources that include peer mentors, academic coaching, and the career centre. The involvement fair and information about organizations are also frequent throughout campus. I believe UTSA has an organization for everyone and students would definitely get a lot out of their college experience by getting involved.
