    A Strong Academic Experience

The Fox School of Business component was one of the aspects I particularly valued in the Executive MBA. It brought a strong international perspective to the program, with high-quality professors, relevant content and a different approach to business and leadership.

I especially appreciated the exposure to an American business school environment and the opportunity to learn alongside participants with diverse professional backgrounds.
My main expectation, however, was that this international dimension and the partnership with Fox would translate more strongly into post-MBA international career opportunities and connections. This was less tangible than I had hoped.

Overall, I found the Fox academic experience very valuable, and I believe there is even greater potential to leverage the partnership through stronger alumni connections, international networking and post-graduation career opportunities.

    Flexible and Research-Oriented Course Structure

The aspect I appreciated most about my university, especially my department, is its flexible course structure. In particular, the graduate course design gives faculty members considerable independence to tailor courses according to students’ research needs. This flexibility allows students to focus on coursework that directly supports their research area. For example, although I am from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, my research focuses on signal processing. Therefore, instead of taking many generic ECE-related courses, I was able to take several signal-processing-related courses that were carefully designed by my advisor and other relevant professors to support my research progress.

Challenging, Supportive, and a Rewarding Journey

Pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Temple University has been a very rewarding experience. The program is academically challenging, but the supportive faculty and collaborative research environment make the hard work worthwhile. I’ve had the opportunity to develop both my technical and research skills while working on meaningful projects. There are definitely demanding moments, especially when balancing research, teaching assistance, and coursework, but overall, it’s a great place to grow as an engineer and researcher.

    Why I choose Temple university

Temple University offers a vibrant and welcoming campus atmosphere where everyone is friendly and supportive. The facilities are top-notch, especially the impressive new Science and Research Center. Smaller class sizes create a more personalized and engaging university experience. There’s also an excellent support network in place to guide students throughout their academic journey.

    Psychology Program

I learned absolutely nothing in the psychology programme at Temple University! We were not required to write much papers, or participate in class discussions. The professor lectured Psychology in a very boring manner that it did not make learning fun. The tests were super easy (if there were any at all!). Most of the teachers appeared as if they were burned when lecturing. Overall I learned nothing and the program did not prepare me for the real world!!

Furthermore, I was not fortunate to have good roommates. To being with my first semester Freshman year roommate was a drug addict who never went to class. In the end she made my experience at the school a living hell by turning my friends and boyfriend against me. It was so bad that I was almost physically assaulted and cops were called. She ended up dropping out the November of the first semester. I have to be honest, but do not even waste your time applying to Temple University!!
