Studying at NYU Abu Dhabi has been an incredible journey for me. The moment I stepped onto the campus, I felt welcomed and at home. The diverse and inclusive community allowed me to meet amazing friends from all over the world. I’m grateful for the university’s unwavering support, ensuring our success both academically and personally. NYUAD prioritizes mental health, providing various resources and services. The professors are not only experts but also approachable and caring. The smaller class sizes and perfect student-teacher ratio create a personalized and interactive learning experience. I’ve grown academically and personally, thanks to the nurturing environment and engaging discussions. NYU Abu Dhabi is a place where you can truly thrive, and I am forever grateful for the friendships and experiences it has given me.

Best decision I’ve ever made and I’ve been to a lot of schools with huge diversity issues and NYU fights all of these ideas. If something happens, they will take care of it. Some departments are slower than others, but they get the job done. If you don’t get a response email, give them a call and they will address your questions and concerns. I’m not too sure about the party life on campus, but it’s New York and I’m from here, so you can go anywhere, but be careful and vigilant. There are good restaurants on campus, but you can eat anywhere and it’s around the corner from your classes. The events are great and it’s a way to meet people who aren’t in your classes and it helps keep everyone on their phones. The professors are available and eager to help you. I learned a lot here and I can truly say it was worth it.
View moreOverall, NYU is a great school as long as you’re comfortable with a non-traditional college experience and are motivated. The academics and connections you make are fantastic. You’ll be able to have fun, but it’s definitely easier to do if you have the money since you’re in Manhattan (learn how to use the subway). The area is quite safe as long as you keep your wits about you and stick in groups. Students always try to collaborate on difficult tasks and learn from each other, especially in learning groups and in learning outside the classroom. While it is true that there are many privileged students, there are many smart and insightful people on campus to learn from. The best school ever! It was my dream school and it exceeded all possible expectations. The academics are exceptional and cannot be compared to any other school.
