at Florida State University - FSU

Florida State University is considered one of the most beautiful campuses in the US. I couldn’t agree more! I also always felt safe while on campus. I had to attend classes until very late and I would walk home alone with no worries.
I decided to have my master in directing films there because the program is really hands-on. It was 2 really intense and challenging years, but also the best years of my life. The film school of FSU is small and welcoming. This creates a very warm atmosphere, especially for International students like myself, that can feel embraced as they get to know pretty much everyone in the building.
At FSU there are a lot of scholarship opportunities as well. I got a scholarship myself, which helped me so much and I m thankful for.
Networking is really important when it comes to get into the film industry. The most important point that made me choose FSU film school is that faculty members connect you with alumni during your last year of school. This does help a lot when you are entering the field. I am not sure if other programs also do that, but the film school does.
