Everyone can find something to do on campus. There are a lot of wonderful communities on campus, including Greek life, gaming, and the arts. There is a strong sense of community fostered by the housing system in this city; many of your friends will live with you. The quarter method is also fantastic because nothing happens so quickly that you can never become bored. The institution combines the atmosphere and curriculum of a small liberal arts college with the resources, opportunities, and funding of a big research university. It truly offers the best of both worlds! There isn’t a stereotype of a University of Chicago student because there are so many real opportunities available.

It’s fantastic to get to explore various aspects of academics beyond my main interest in sociology. But meanwhile, it’s a great challenge to learn to deal with a high workload and peer pressure.
