

I liked that you can always change your major. It gives you more opportunity to explore more options. It may be harder to make new friends than some other universities given its location and weather. But overall, I made some good memories and enjoyed learning here. Curriculum is not that bad but I don’t like how it’s always changing. As same for other schools, some professors are nice and some aren’t.

Furthermore, case western reserve university possesses state of the art facilities such as updated libraries, labs, dorms and research centers. I’m a biomedical engineering major, and I’ve had the chance to work alongside renowned faculty members on cutting-edge projects. Dr. Anant Madabhushi’s ‘Imaging and Informatics’ course was a highlight of my academic journey so far. His passion for medical imaging and machine learning inspired me to pursue a research project in cancer diagnosis.
Beyond academics, CWRU’s campus life is incredibly vibrant. From cultural events to tech conferences, there’s always something happening. I’m part of the CWRU Robotics Club, and we’ve competed in national competitions, showcasing our innovative projects.
Cleveland is an amazing city, too! From the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to the Cleveland Museum of Art, there’s no shortage of cultural attractions. Plus, the city’s revitalization efforts have created a thriving startup scene, offering plenty of internship and job opportunities.
My advice to future students? Be prepared to take advantage of every opportunity. CWRU offers a world-class education, cutting-edge research, and a vibrant campus community. Don’t be afraid to explore, take risks, and pursue your passions.
If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose CWRU. It’s a truly special place that has helped me discover my strengths, pursue my interests, and prepare for a successful future.
