I would like to start by saying, the faculty at CSU is one of its most valuable strengths. The professors possess extensive expertise in their respective fields and exhibit a strong commitment to their students’ achievements. They consistently surpass expectations by fostering an interactive learning atmosphere, promoting critical thinking, and offering invaluable mentorship. Whether it is through stimulating classroom dialogues, individualised consultations, or collaborative research endeavours, the faculty’s dedication to teaching and their unwavering support for students have proven to be immeasurable assets. Studying physics you would naturally expect to be challenged creatively and that’s the atmosphere I am welcomed with every time I enter a lecture.

I would not be the person I am today if it weren’t for meeting new friends and taking challenging classes taught by Cleveland State. Overall, the school is good. Although we have never encountered a problem, campus safety is our primary concern.

What I liked about CSU, was the push I received from the faculty to strive towards actually learning and not just studying for good grades. That being said, the faculty in the engineering department would not engage as much in the learning process, which made it more of a struggle. In the end, I believe sometimes that is what is needed to push yourself more as a growing mind. A benefit of CSU, is that it has one of the lower tuitions in Ohio, considering its great academic undergraduate and graduate programs and NCAA Division I sports program. In the USA, its especially desirable to have those benefits, while paying less for tuition and it means a lot considering how in debt students get after university. I must say as well, it has a diverse faculty board which helped me have a new and different perspective in classroom. We always had access to multiple programs, clubs and activities that are needed to feel more involved and engaged.

I like how the university is located in the city, there’s cafes and restaurants around, making lunch breaks more diverse rather than generic, the campus isn’t so large too, that makes it easy to navigate around. What I really want to highlight is the affordability the school offers, each semester is fairly affordable nothing over budget which helps with stress of trying to keep up with studies and the bills. Staffs could be a little bit more friendly but overall it’s a nice experience here.
