I’ll start by saying that Winchester University is very outdated, the campus has many old buildings and they are very far away from the main campuses.
However the atmosphere is great, and I’ve made friends for life.
The course could do with some improvements as there’s not much choice.
My programme (Primary Education) includes hands on activities which is useful learning. There’s lots of library space and places to chill out. One down fall of the uni is consideration for commuters. I commute and it’s a pain to have to come in for a 45 minute lecture or a last minute cancellation.

I am interested in learning about the sociological and historical perspectives of education, which are covered in my degree.
View moreStudying Primary Education at Winchester is super fun and exciting. Getting hands-on experience on placements, and meeting hundreds of people with similar passions is what university is all about. Although the university itself is small in comparison to other well-known education providers, it makes up for its size with its dedicated staff. With a smaller campus comes a much nicer ethos – there are still around 5000 students but you get to know lots of people on a much more friendly level.
View moreI had the best 3 years at Winchester, my course was amazing and the lecturers were really supportive! I joined a society and this was the best thing I’ve done at university, I met the most amazing friends
