As an overall, my course itself is very flexible and is able to meet the needs of a broad spectrum of students who each are studying the course in order to gain knowledge of a particular area of Sports science. The lecture’s I have attended have been useful and the professors and lecturers I have met have all been helpful when I have ever needed support. I’m an independent student and from time to time prefer to study the course in different ways, which has been made simple for me as the online support and ‘Moodle profiles’ that the university have presented to us make all the content easily accessible as I can all be found in one place. The course examination system could be improved in my opinion as exams where spread out over the year, than opposed to all within a 4 week time frame in April/May time. The overall student life on campus is good. The university makes the effort by organising events for the students to prevent boredom, however, prior to joining the university I was falsely advertised about particular events and transport to these events, which I came to realise that where not taking place. The accommodation could be improved as it can be seen as outdated and unhomely and it is extremely expensive for what it is. Other university’s will offer cheaper prices and better standard and wider selection of accommodation.
