As an overall, my course itself is very flexible and is able to meet the needs of a broad spectrum of students who each are studying the course in order to gain knowledge of a particular area of Sports science. The lecture’s I have attended have been useful and the professors and lecturers I have met have all been helpful when I have ever needed support. I’m an independent student and from time to time prefer to study the course in different ways, which has been made simple for me as the online support and ‘Moodle profiles’ that the university have presented to us make all the content easily accessible as I can all be found in one place. The course examination system could be improved in my opinion as exams where spread out over the year, than opposed to all within a 4 week time frame in April/May time. The overall student life on campus is good. The university makes the effort by organising events for the students to prevent boredom, however, prior to joining the university I was falsely advertised about particular events and transport to these events, which I came to realise that where not taking place. The accommodation could be improved as it can be seen as outdated and unhomely and it is extremely expensive for what it is. Other university’s will offer cheaper prices and better standard and wider selection of accommodation.View more
I appreciate the assistance provided and the work put forward for events. I had hoped for more from the course, but it is intriguing. Lecturers are the friendliest people on campus. Lectures and personnel are really welcoming to us. They are always concerned about what we must do. The university has responded positively. I consider myself extremely fortunate to just be a Roehampton University student.View more
I love the program, the university and the way professors
deliver the courses. All modules are interesting and I am receiving support anytime it is needed. I suggest to everyone interested to study business take into consideration Roehampton University. I have learned much more than I could think.
Roehampton is in an excellent area, making it simple to travel to surrounding boroughs such as Putney and RichmondThey have a giant, modern library full of many books, as well as downtown London. The instructors are committed and educated, and after speaking with alumni before attending the school, they were able to quickly obtain jobs. The course is both demanding and stimulating. I enjoy being here because everyone is polite, the staff is lovely, and there is a fantastic social life and society in the rowing club, as well as all other sports like tennis, football, cheerleading, and rugby. They have a large, modern library with a large number of books. It provides free university bus services too.
It also offers a lot of assistance to kids, whether they need it physically, emotionally, or for their education.
Because of the pandemic, I did not get a chance to go to university within the first two semesters. But the last semester was on campus. The university provided me with extra support throughout the course. They made a study plan for me. At first, I was struggling because I came from Bangladesh and the education system is completely different from that of the Uk. But my university supported me a lot and I got Merit in my Dissertation. The teachers and my supervisor were very friendly and helpful. After my graduation, the university held an Education Fair which is basically a career opportunity for graduate students. I attended the fair. It was a good doorstep for students. Overall, I enjoyed studying at the University of Roehampton.View more
I study Creative Writing and English Literature here and overall I find my course really good. The university itself has a beautiful campus, with really good teaching facilities and beautiful green open areas for chilling in summer. The lecturers on my course have always been really lovely and always ready to help with any issues, especially in the difficult times with covid. All of the other students I’ve met through my course have been really nice and lovely, and I’ve met some life-long friends. They’re all really dedicated to the course and it’s really nice to have a group of like-minded people to spend time with and get help from if you’re struggling! The university has loads of ways to get involved with social and course-related events, and I’d recommend it to anyone.View more
