I am very pleased with my decision to do a joint-honours degree, mixing English and History has broadened my horizons and had a lasting impact on my intellectual life. The art element of Goldsmiths influenced one of my courses; Word and Image. Overall I was very satisfied with the standard and level of teaching.

Socially New Cross is a great blend of South East London culture, influenced by immigrants from all over the world. Lewisham market is still the best place to buy fruits and veg in London, and the history of Deptford and Greenwich is second to none. Also good links to Central London, two stations within 5 minutes walk, then a ten-15 minute train journey.
