What I liked about Studying at the University of Hertfordshire as an international student was the quality of the teaching, which was dynamic and committed. Especially in a course like mine, which requires practical work, research and observation, teachers were able to stay committed with the students even in covid times, which was admirable for their techniques in teaching and the communication they led with each one of their students. On a different note, something the school could improve is their student interface and student helplines, the university has a variety of facilities and software they provide for the students, yet it is not easy to get fast access to these things and the communication is very slow and I believe that to be because of the way the interface is made. They could definitely organize it better and create more effective ways for students to take full advantage of university facilities and software such as programs and apps for each career, the school needs to promote this within their students and help them experience their uni career to its fullest to achieve satisfaction. The students in this university have in general a good uni life, we have almost everything we could possibly need on our campuses, but one thing that could be better is the number of stores and pharmacies. We are many students living in a pretty small town with not many things to do, we have a couple of restaurants a mall, Aldi, Asda, some small stores and that is pretty much it. The university should really think about implementing more recreational spaces for students and more importantly at least one Pharmacy and more food and basic needs products Providers. To be completely honest, this university has a great number of international students and I believe this to be a great advantage for us to expand our knowledge, and network, learn about different cultures and embrace the diversity between us. Overall, I feel pretty good with my university and with my career choice and feel prepared for what is yet to come in my working life.
