This university is just wonderful. They put together an excellent team and the most realistic, student-centred education I’ve ever experienced. The professors are all exceptional educators who are very talented, inspirational, and gifted. I couldn’t have asked for a finer group of professors. The campus is well-equipped, including coffee shops and a restaurant. My experience at Ulster University was enjoyable. The contemporary campus has its own distinct look and offers a fantastic experience.
View moreGreat location with amazing facilities on-campus for students, the course itself covers quite a lot of content divided between modules within weekly blocks delivering block-learning on selected days throughout the week. The lecturers are extremely supportive, friendly and helpful and the content is always interesting and allows for lots of group work. The University in my opinion is extremely international seeing students attending from all parts of the world. In terms of student life, there are always events and activities to participate in as well as a variety of clubs and societies to join. I would definitely recommend the Uni and the course to others.
View moreUlster University is conveniently located in the city centre. This makes it simple to get around. The teachers and staff are approachable. There are always activities available for students to participate in. I like how all of the classes and workshops are housed in the same building. My only wish is that the workshops were open on weekends. Most of the students get tired after class hour so they miss it.
Now I am having a long break from university, already missing everyone. Miss our presentation and teamwork. Fun with teachers. My course is very fun to learn. It is MSc Marketing. You could learn some incredible tricks for sales. You get an idea of technology and business hacks. All the lecturers are very smart and helpful. They check your assignment and email you before your submission.
The student services are also very good. During the pandemic, they conducted regular classes with Webex. Which is easy to use.
One thing I would avoid is accommodation because I think It is overpriced.
I already got a part time job in a firm as a sales consultant. I can put what I learnt into practice now. Thanks to Ulster.
View moreMost of the students are international. Ulster has been a great choice for them. No matter what issue arise they always solve it. Some students do not get help and they complain about it because they do not know where to complain. There are multiple emails so you have to know which one is relevant to your issue. If it is about a financial issue then it has a different email address, if it is about the competition then it has a different one, so you have to find the right one. If you go to the reception area you can see there is a list of emails.
I really love my campus, they organize a lot of events, competitions and many more. Especially on Thursday, you can see them doing Salsa after uni hour, which is fun to watch and join. It’s totally free. The environment is great.
The teachers are fantastic. They are very friendly and fun to be around.
Classrooms are also great. Everyone can charge their laptop, phone inside the classroom 😀
My course was International business, the modules were ”Digital landscape” (it is about online marketing and technology, this subject is so creative), ”Finance”, ”Marketing” ”Business Research” ”Entrepreneurship” and many more. So, you can get a broad knowledge about business. The lecturers assign us teamwork and individual reports and if you get stuck they are always here.
Right now I will do my internship, the great thing is they will be providing companies to us if you do not find one.
Overall, I would rate my uni a 10 out of 10!
View moreThis university is well-run and has excellent physical facilities, but it is severely missing a university on-campus counsellor, especially given the high prevalence of mental health disorders in the fine arts department and across the board. The university is making an attempt with its mind your mood programme for mental health, but offering six free counselling sessions with an off-campus institution is simply not enough. It makes it more difficult for students, especially those who are new to the city, to call out for help when they need it. For want of a better description, I find the general atmosphere at the university to be extremely “non-community.” Students prefer to isolate themselves and there is a lack of a social climate, all of which are potential contributing factors.

The modules are ” Business Research Skills, Digital Landscape, Global Strategy Development and Implementation, Global Marketing and Sales Development, International HRM, International Entrepreneurship, International Finance, Global Business In Context. I was not expecting to learn this much I thought it will be all about communication and advertising your business, but I learned more than that. I would definitely suggest anyone take the course. I can assure anyone that they will get a deep knowledge of business, technology and more.
View moreOverall, I like the university program. Course content design, faculty quality, delivered values, service quality. The university can improve its career support for master’s students. The library can have more books to deliver.
View moreIt has been a great experience. I am learning new things and ready for the labour market. My lecturers are very knowledgable and are always ready to help us in areas where we need help. The school has a great library with a lot of books to choose from.
View moreThe teachers deliver their lectures beautifully and are always ready to help and answer any questions you may have. The facilities are state of the art and promote a very good learning habit. The diversity on campus enables you to immerse in the different cultures and learn from different people.
View moreUlster University has accepted me as a postgraduate student with open arms. The Coleraine campus has beautiful scenery and a great walk paved out. When I am on campus I feel a sense of community within the university. Everyone including the staff are friendly and want to help in any way.
My course has been great so far, I love how it is specified to applying our knowledge in a real-life situation. Every lecture has been easily accessible through email and always helpful. The course has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone in the nutrition field.
