I’ve had the pleasure of learning from the exceptional professors at Ulster University, and I can confidently say that they’ve played a fundamental role in equipping me with the practical skills I need to succeed in the real world. Their dedication goes far beyond the classroom; they’ve always been available to answer my questions, offer guidance, and provide support whenever I’ve needed it. This level of accessibility has created an environment where I’ve truly felt supported throughout my academic journey and personal development, and I’m grateful for their commitment to my success.

My time at Ulster University was highly enriching, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development. The university’s supportive environment encouraged active participation in projects, allowing me to learn from experienced educators and apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. Ulster University is enhancing my practical life skills and learning. I’ve made new international friends here, and the world-class lecturers are introducing me to fascinating topics and real-life lessons that are beneficial for my job prospects. The club facilities also provide me with chances to hone my skills. However, I do wish the campus was a bit larger to accommodate the growing number of students, as it can feel crowded. In summary, I encourage everyone to seize the opportunities at Ulster University to achieve success in their careers.

In the stimulating and interactive learning environment at Ulster university, Belfast, students gain essential skills and knowledge that are crucial for their success throughout their academic journey. I have great respect for the professors, staff, students, and campus, as there is an ongoing array of captivating activities to engage in. Additionally, the atmosphere is exceptionally welcoming and friendly, creating a sense of inclusiveness for everyone.

I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Global Capital Markets (Risk Management pathway). The course was fully online so there was no need to travel from Kildare. I found this course very informative, and the lecturers were very engaging and made the content interesting. I came out of the course with a far better understanding of the capital markets and the knowledge helps me in my current role. I currently work in Enterprise Risk Management (I used to work in an operational role in financial services) and I believe I was able to pivot into risk as a result of completing this course. Only negative is that there used to be an option to progress into a masters degree, this was discontinued the year I attended UU.
