My experience at the University of Hertfordshire was overall quite positive. There were several aspects that I liked about the university. First and foremost, I found the range of academic programs to be diverse and well-structured. The university offers a variety of courses and majors, and I was able to find a program that aligned perfectly with my academic interests and career goals.
The location of the university was also a significant advantage for me. Being located in Hatfield, which is in proximity to London, allowed me to access numerous cultural and professional opportunities in the capital city. It offered a balance between a suburban environment and access to a vibrant city.
The campus facilities were modern and well-equipped, providing a conducive environment for learning. The university’s commitment to investing in facilities such as libraries, laboratories, and recreational areas greatly benefited my academic journey.
One aspect I particularly appreciated was the diversity of the student population. Interacting with students from various cultural backgrounds enriched my academic and social experiences.
However, like any university, there were some considerations to keep in mind. The cost of tuition and living expenses in the UK can be quite high, which might be a concern for some students. It’s important to plan your finances accordingly.
In terms of recommendations, I would certainly recommend the University of Hertfordshire to prospective students who are looking for a diverse range of academic programs and opportunities in a suburban setting with easy access to London. The university provides a solid foundation for academic and personal growth. However, I would advise students to carefully consider their budget and financial planning due to the associated costs of studying in the UK. Additionally, it’s essential to research the specific programs and faculty related to your field of study to ensure they align with your goals and interests.
View moreI have recently started at the University studying a Digital Marketing undergraduate degree and I have thoroughly enjoyed my first week. The campus is big with many facilities catering to all your needs. It consists of a sports village which includes a swimming pool and more, a huge library, a number of quiet study areas as well as an array of food & dining options including a Starbucks!
The university also provides excellent support for your studies with kind, supportive lecturers, CASE advisors as well as personal tutors and peer mentors who are always there to offer their support. The university truly allows students to feel supported and valued arranging for weekly events, job placements, job fairs and so much more. Other than this, there are a lot more facilities which cater to your needs as a student ensuring your time at the university brings a positive experience.
The Univeristy is huge and prioritises it’s students with facilties and high quality education. This is all I could ask for but that is not all. The supermarket and the gym is within the campus and there is a huge walking track where students can explore. The staff are helpful and resourceful, to them students are more important and therefore; the services they provide are high quality and quick. The course outline is well planned put for our better understanding and to follow along instructions and the timetable, there are apps to download which can easily guide its students. Overall my experience has been great and I could not ask for more. I am happy to be a student in this University.
View moreI live in the accomodations in College Lane Campus and I absolutely love this University for prioritising its students and providing high quality services and education. I applied for Masters in Illustration (Design) and although it overwhelming I am satisfied with the course outline. The campus is huge and it allows me to walk long distances which I do love. There are facilities available within the campus therefore; you are not required to leave campus since everything is available within our vicinity. There isn’t anything particularly bad about the campus because I have been having a great experience overall. I am thankful to be a part if just an incredible institution.
