During my university journey, spanning from 2001 to 2008, I had the privilege of working full-time alongside my studies. This experience allowed me to gain practical insights and apply my learning in real-life scenarios. I was fortunate to have a dedicated group of teachers who possessed extensive work experience, prioritizing practical application and case studies over mere theoretical learning. This approach ensured that I emerged from school equipped with valuable, usable knowledge that I could readily apply in professional settings.
View moreI studied at the University of Hertfordshire from 2018 – 2022. Go Herts! I had so much fun and met some life long friends. Studying at the University of Hertfordshire enabled to learn new things about myself and come out of my comfort zone.
Hertfordshire has great leaning facilities and tutors who are willing to help you with your assignments.
The only down side to this uni is that it is located in a town that is quite boring once students leave for the holidays. It also doesn’t have great shops and extra curriculum activates outside of the campus.
View moreThe university has a really great support system for students and they focus on the academic, emotional and mental well-being of every student. They accept all suggestions and work towards providing a good environment for students and staff. They provide so many fun and academic activities to keep students engaged. The school is a really great school with great facilities for every department. The school provides an environment for healthy student life. The school has an excellent academic status. Although the school has done a good job in achieving most of its goals to provide a good environment for its student there are some limitations; most facilities get broken and are not replaced in time for students to use them. As a placement student, getting a placement seems difficult because of the various rules they set on what the right placement should be. Still, I am happy to be a student at the University of Hertfordshire
View moreI love my university and it has opened up my eyes to many things that I wasn’t previously aware of. My degree is extensively coursework based so it requires research but this research has really helped me build my independence and time management skills because they are very organized and actually try their best not to overlap different assignments and have 2 weeks or so between each deadline which is rare in universities. Our tutors and teaching team is ever ready to help and are available around the clock whenever we have a doubt or need any help. The diversity is amazing and it is an all-inclusive place. They also have a mental health club and have weeks and days dedicated to help students with any mental health issues and work on raising awareness on racism etc. They are the definition of balance with both work and play where students are encouraged to enjoy and express themselves as well as study hard. I would recommend this university to everyone and I’m proud to be their alma mater.
