Recently graduated from a BA Business at UWS, I can say that the quality of courses are valued and evaluated. Exchange of thoughts on courses improvement and feelings about exams are open. The campus in Ayr has a great location and the student life is lively, I recommand strongly this university.
View moreTeachers were class, ran a great programme. Unfortunately the “corporate” uni and all its services, from finance to student support, equipment and resources are an absolute fail. Uni still blaming IT problems on a cyber attack that happened 2 years ago. Fee structure disadvantages part time students. Rigidly enforced a full time on campus study policy half way through the course when hybrid/remote study policy was in place upon starting. This was an unfair disadvantage to part time students, working people as well as mothers etc. It is discriminatory on the grounds of age.
View moreMy university is a vibrant hub of learning, innovation, and personal growth. With its modern infrastructure, well-equipped labs, and extensive library, it provides an excellent academic environment. The faculty consists of experienced professors who are not only knowledgeable but also supportive, encouraging students to think critically and creatively.
Beyond academics, the university offers numerous extracurricular activities, including sports, cultural events, and student clubs, fostering leadership and teamwork. The campus is diverse, bringing together students from different backgrounds, which enriches the learning experience.
Located in a bustling city, the university also provides opportunities for internships and industry collaborations, preparing students for real-world challenges. The lively campus atmosphere, combined with serene green spaces, makes it an ideal place for both study .
View moreI have somewhat enjoyed my time at this university. The academics are well-managed, however, lack additional resources and vital career building initiatives which are not provided by the university. Lecturers are thorough and provide a good learning environment. The campus has a wide range of facilities, but lacks student events and a feeling of student-togetherness which has negatively impacted my time at the university. The students are for the most part friendly, but many lack ambition and drive, which has impacted the completion of group projects and the overall environment of the university. As a whole, solely for the academics, I would recommend this university, but there are certainly better out there and if I could I go back, I would have chosen a different university.
