A Different Approach
Great idea for a place to specialise into the sports industry and prepare a student going into this business. Classes are smaller, which allows to really build a connection with lecturers, improving both your learning opportunities and your professional network. UCFB does well to provide accommodation, as well as unique programs that give invaluable insight into the industry. However, due to the fact that it’s still not a well-known place, it lacks the reputation of bigger, more traditional sports institutions and universities. UCFB can do better to support students when it comes to employability opportunities (for example, I believe they can help more individually to students to find a good-matching job, instead of leaving the students deal by themselves after graduation). Overall, a different approach with many positives and a couple of downsides that future students should be aware of.
