UCFB (reviews)

I enjoyed my time at UCFB, in particular the extra curricular activities that were put on. The lecturers and guest speakers were very open and willing to help. I met some great people along the way, some of which have excelled in the football industry.

There has been a major increase in the number of African students that have enrolled in the last year but many of us have failed to establish a sense of community amongst ourselves. I can say that Uni life has not been easy to navigate and not having a village of people who are like me has been tough so I can only imagine what someone else is going through. I think the Uni needs to integrate an ACS for students like me, to know that they have people who they can rely on as well as provide an escape from what can be an overwhelming work life

I have had a very pleasant experience of this university thus far. I have completed all of my modules with the exception being my Dissertation which I am currently working on. I would have liked a bit more guidance on networking with people in the industry throughout the process.

This university has state-of-the-art facilities as it’s based at the Etihad Stadium (Manchester) and Wembley Stadium (London). If you are looking for a career in the sports business, this is definitely for you! Courses range from finance and law to media and marketing! It’s also a great way to gain experience within the industry there are jobs in sports specific to UCFB students and I have managed to already get a lot of experience.
Getting a degree here is great, but top students make the most of their time here and get involved with enrichment sessions such as public speaking and guest speakers.
It is great and friendly and easy to make friends as you all have a sport in common! Being a female at this uni, I hope to inspire many more females to attend.
