I’m an international student and I always loved the British educational system. University of Bolton (now it’s actually called University of Greater Manchester) uses modern teaching methods and good infrastructures. I also like how supportive they can be with students.
View moreThis university is balanced and diverse and offers a range of opportunities in education for people from all walks of life. As well as that, the lectures are amazing and inclusive and that is chalked down to the lecturers themselves that work hard to provide us with all we need. I like this university and see myself enjoying the rest of my 4 years here and progressing professionally as well as academically.
View moreMy experience during my Bachelor years in University of Bolton, Rak was overall neutral. I did have some of the best memories that I have made there. The campus was not so great, facilities were very basic-not much in terms of student life or extracurricular opportunities.
The lectures were supportive but at the same time I believe the quality of teaching could be vastly improved. Some modules felt outdated and not well-organized. We only had classes twice a week with barely 3/4 hours of lecture which is totally not enough as someone studying for software engineering.
View moreI was really confused about what degree to pick after my sixth form, and while I was researching which university course I should choose, that’s when this course popped up. We have one particular lecturer who is passionate about this course while teaching us. His thrill about teaching has driven me more into the course. I also say this on behalf of my fellow coursemates, as we think he’s an amazing lecturer and teacher who passionately teaches about the subject, which makes the students fall in love with the course more. Furthermore, I have met great, fun and kind people. Teachers are so cooperative, and that’s how they should be, honestly, because we are young people who need support from professionals to grow in our field.
View moremy school offers a strong support system for international students, including helpful academic staff and accessible administrative services. the class sizes are also small which allows for more personalized learning environment. also the multicultural environment provides the opportunity to meet people from different background.
my only dislike is the lack of leisure opportunities as other cities.
