One of the greatest strengths of UNISR is the close connection between the university campus, the hospital, and the research laboratories. Their proximity creates a unique environment where academic learning, clinical exposure, and research are deeply integrated. This makes it easier not only to gain practical experience, but also to build meaningful professional relationships from the very beginning.

The university and hospital are home to outstanding clinicians and researchers, many of whom are internationally renowned in their fields. During my time at UNISR, I have had the privilege of learning from people who are not only excellent professionals, but also inspiring mentors.

A strong emphasis is placed on practical training alongside a solid theoretical foundation. As students, we have many opportunities to shadow clinicians in the hospital and researchers in the laboratories. In addition, the recent opening of the simulation center has further enriched the learning experience, allowing students to approach procedures and clinical scenarios in a safe, structured, and highly realistic environment.

UNISR brings together students from all over Italy, as well as many from around the world. This creates a dynamic and stimulating environment, both academically and personally, and contributes to a strong sense of community among students.

For me personally, the greatest strength of UNISR is the wide range of opportunities for professional growth. Students who are motivated, hardworking, and willing to take initiative can learn a great deal, take part in meaningful experiences, and see their effort recognized and encouraged.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience at UNISR. Like any medical degree, it is demanding and requires dedication, resilience, and a lot of studying. However, in the end, the personal and professional growth it offers makes it absolutely worth it.
