As an international student – relocating my entire life to a foreign city away from friends, family, and home was possibly one of the most challenging decisions of my life. At St George’s you will be taught by some of the best and most experienced doctors, scientists, and healthcare specialists in the United Kingdom. Furthermore, the university provides endless opportunities to be part of groundbreaking research projects under top-class professors. All in all, this university provides everything and more any healthcare student can wish for.
View moreThe fact that the university is also a hospital so you can see the bigger picture of what you are studying for. It has a tight-knit community, as it is only a small healthcare university, so this in itself makes it feel very cosy and familiar. However, the food places within the hospital are quite expensive i.e. M & S and 2 Prets. There are quite regular student-led events throughout the year such as Halloween Discos and Christmas events. However, the location isn’t the greatest and the facilities aren’t that varied.
