A business cannot survive if its products are not marketed in the proper way. Luckily for all the businesses out there, the number of candidates wanting to pursue a marketing career is growing tremendously.
The aim of this degree is to help students anticipate, manage, and satisfy customers’ needs and wants. By doing so, they will be able to effectively communicate the benefits of any business product to the targeted market.
Due to the fact that marketing is a complex industry, which tackles many areas ranging from market research to advertising and promotion, this degree focuses on all parts of the process before concentrating on a particular area of study.
Good news for marketing graduates! If you did not know yet, marketing is an essential aspect of all types of businesses, from all sectors of activity. Thus, all of them rely on marketers to promote and sell their products. A high market demand comes with many job opportunities available.
According to Labor Department Findings, graduates with a marketing degree can earn 98% more per hour than the ones working in the industry without having a specialised degree.
Furthermore, students are equipped with transferable skills, such as excellent communication abilities, strategic thinking, planning, data analysis and so on, that can be used in other industries too.
Marketing degrees can be studied either as Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc). The major difference lies in the presence of more scientific and technological aspects, which are commonly seen in a BSc rather than a BA.
Like most degrees, marketing courses last between three and four years, depending on the university. However, there are institutions which give students the possibility to do a two-year associate’s degree – also called a ‘foundation’ degree.
Even if graduating from both degrees qualifies candidates to work in this industry, a Bachelor degree has higher chances to lead you to well-paid jobs.
A Great Business School with Good Ties to the Business Worlds. It is a great university and it’s Master’s program is one of the best in the entire region.
It’s curriculum covers the entire spectrum of business activities. Most professors and lecturers combine a great academic background with an enthusiastic environment filled with diverse opinions on academic research with real world experience, offering students a connection to real business and real business projects and problems.
Also, it has great career prospects thanks to the widespread international alumni.
View moreIn my experience the education has been effective and they have adapted online teaching easily in terms of application and lectures. The size of the campus is big as a result it allows you to communicate with other students. Furthermore, you able to get to know people from different race and ethnicity that allows you to understand and learn different cultures. However, it is so far from central London, it has made harder to spend time with friends outside of the campus. I would definitely recommend this university if you like to know other cultures and big campus.
View moreI would appreciate the efforts put by all the lecturers and tutors to successfully conduct excellent coursework throughout the course. The teaching methods and quality of interaction within the class were phenomenal. I would recommend looking for Queen Mary University as a spotlight to carry an education career ahead.
View moreLiving on campus in my first year was a great experience. I really enjoy university life here at Queen Mary. There are all the facilities available which a student needs at the university. Also the on campus accommodation was really good.
View moreThe teaching staff and the university facilities are excellent and it is a very multicultural and symbiotic community which is a very helpful and encouraging environment for a student to study and thrive in. It also allows us to interact with students and give us future career opportunities.
View moreFor what it represents as a university it lacks having all the professors on a high level. The location is horrible, and there is no safety whatsoever. People come and go here without being checked so there are a lot of thefts that occur.
View moreQueen Mary University is one of the top leading universities recognised globally. The university provides state of art infrastructure, teaching, recreational activities which are few of the unique aspects of Queen Mary’s !
View moreUniversity Mile End campus is amazing in terms of location and infrastructure as well. The Library is huge which allows us to study and explore other areas as well. There are a lot of opportunities for students on campus which will help them for their future careers.
View moreI like that there is a variety of societies, teachers are friendly and very helpful in the sense that they provide feedback and answer questions when needed. Lots of opportunities to meet new people and the university is close to everything, as in Shoreditch etc.
View moreCampus good! Teachers could be better! Awesome Instructors. Also, there have been incidents of hate crime near the uni! I think the university should keep a more open mind and make an effort to tackle such problems especially when you have people from all sections of the society and different races studying in the university.
