A world-class university with excellent research. It is specifically focused on science, technology, and medicine. The South Kensington campus is the main one and houses most of the departments and they have various other campuses and hospitals spread around London. I’m giving 4 stars because their internal catering called Imperial Catering was and is absolutely awful always giving greasy low-quality food. Overall, one of the best technical universities with a rigorous education and research.
View moreImperial is an amazing uni, I’ve learnt so much in the first year I’ve been there. All the tutors are very professional and the modules are really well taught. Feedback is so important to all the staff, this really makes me feel like my opinion is needed and heard. Improvement is the key to success.
View moreVery organized courses, high-level structures, well-taken care building, professional labs, great professors, incredibly smart students.
Interesting activities after classes promoting volunteering. Career service very useful to help job finding. But very expensive fees.
My course is a relatively new course, which combines traditional engineering with design modules. It is truly great for people interested in engineering but perhaps are unsure which department they want to specialise in, and also wants to learn about product design.
Imperial as a whole is quite a substantial Uni. You can find a club or society for anything you fancy, and there are always opportunities to try new hobbies and meet new people. I am a member of the CGCU Motor club, which takes part in go-karting championships, and owns a 1986 Austin Mini which I work on as a restoration project.
