One of the best thing I got in brunel is the cultural diversity which is very amazing to see. See people of different cultures around the uni makes it more lively though out the day. The best thing about this is we get to experience every culture and learn more about them
View moreThe program that I’ve chosen is MSc Renewable Energy Engineering. This program is very relevant to the current energy scenario in the world and aims at tackling the issue of pollution by choosing sustainable alternatives. The professors ensure that we have adequate understanding of the module by setting assignments relevant to the renewable energy sector.
Teaching is very practical and modern , by offering hybrid learning , we can cover our modules remotely as well. The university has a separate department that offers career advice , aids CV improvement and provide us with valuable interview tips.
View moreGood experience at Brunel as a mature student. I didn’t stay on campus or partake in extracurricular student activities. Good support from my personal tutor and a good society. Μotorsport is good. Workshop facilities to use and good people met.
View moreAbsolutely fantastic place to study. Lovely friendly staff that are always on hand to help if you have any problems. Professors are more than qualified to teach lessons.
As a mechanical engineering student, you will have all the laboratories to your disposal.
If you like sports this university has one of the best facilities for that. Even Usain Bolt goes to the running track to train sometimes. Furthermore, many students participate and/or train for the Olympic games!!
Accommodation is minutes walk from the university. The location of Brunel University is near Uxbridge. About 10 min ride from Uxbridge station.
Overall during my undergraduate I felt supported by the different departments of the uni (which are many).
I do recommend to study here since is a great university for engineering.
