I really enjoy what you learn in the universities sociology program, lectures are usually always based around something really intriguing and sociology as a subject really has the power to make you think outside the box on life. The campus of the university itself is really beautiful is a nice mix of original ancient architecture and modern learning environments, while the campus is quite big so it can be confusing to navigate at first it is still definitely worth it for the experience of Edinburgh university. The staff at the university have all been really helpful and understanding in my experience too!

Having recently completed a degree in Politics, this programme was not what I was looking for in terms of content. I found it repetitive and ‘watered down’.
Nonetheless, the faculty was amazing, and the staff were very kind, understanding, and helpful. This partially made up for the slow administration and the lie of being told there would be on-site teaching during COVID-19 (I have only entered the school building once.)
