The university has a beautiful campus and wonderful music department. However, this is significantly outweighed by the atrocious disability and mental health support, or lack there of. The guild of students is also badly managed and does not appear to have the students best interests in mind.
View moreThe UOB campus is stunning. They have converted one of the ‘dome’ spaces into a beautiful acoustic space for concerts. My lecturers offer a variety of philosophical perspectives on topics which provides us with a broad plane of knowledge. The Facilities the music department offer are seldom seen elsewhere, with three studios fully equipped with ambisonic speaker setups, and all the microphones one could ever need.
View moreThe facilities are great in the UoB music department and the lecturers are willing to help but some of them are cold as ice which makes them intimidating and hard to approach. The campus is beautiful but the city is very expensive.
