Studying at Aberdeen University, I have often been impressed with the range of courses, societies, and communities present here that help a great deal in finding the path you want to take in life.
This is on top of high quality facilities that are well maintained and well equipped, and teaching that is always professional and rewards effort in learning.
The surrounding city is also very comfortable, having plenty of entertainment venues, relatively affordable accommodation options, and scoring a purple flag(outstanding) for safety.
While I would prefer if societies had a closer relationship to the university and that teachers were more enthusiastic, I would still highly recommend this university due to it’s quality of life and it’s facilities.
View moreI thoroughly enjoyed studying at the University of Aberdeen and would recommend it highly. Courses are well-organized, up to date and research oriented. University is international and non-discriminatory. Most lecturers have an open door policy, which makes learning much easier and enjoyable.
View moreI am a graduate and a master student as well as an employee at University of Aberdeen. All of which have helped me realise that even though University of Aberdeen is an old and highly prestigious institution, it still strives for continuous improvement which could benefit students and staff members as well as the whole community of Aberdeen. During my time here, I have been impressed by the University’s concern regarding students’ feedback about everything from course structure to gaining work experience. Further, I was pleasantly surprised to see that several issues which were brought up by the students were resolved in a short period of time.
