A few departments in the university are good, but the one I studied at (Amity School of Communication, Noida campus) was absolutely not worth the fee the university charges. A few faculty members were good teachers and had industry experience, but many others were worthless. I understand the case is similar for many institutes, but when you are paying a hefty amount of money for a course, you expect industry-oriented training rather than teaching methods like a dictation of text, and worthless and non-practical written evaluations.

On top of it, the campus non-AC hostel was pathetic, to say the least for the money they charge. Cleanliness of washrooms was hardly done, mosquitos were around in hundreds most of the time (pest control was seldom done), and hostel rules said you need to be back to your hostel building before 10 pm, which does not speak good of a “university”. Food was not included in the already-hefty hostel fee, and the most affordable meal in the canteen used to be decent only sometimes, while the canteens sold good quality food at a heavier price.

Also, the campus library, though very spacious, air-conditioned and comfortable, closed at around 8 pm daily, which means there was no option to concentrate on studies or learning activities at late evenings for students who wanted to.

The campus looks really modern and lot of amenities. I think it’s very important in an educational space. And amazing teaching. The best part for me as a media student is that we have a good studio which can be used for professional work.

The campus is pretty big with almost the best facilities available compared to other universities. The campus has students from almost all countries of the world and are friendly to all the international students even though Amity is a India based campus.

Amity university is a great university and a great experience it helps us prepare for the real world. Amity offers many various facilities for every course which helps us all grow and become better students. The campus is one of the best features as it offers many various facilities and things to do, the students in the university are all different and u can make memories learn new things have new experiences , Amity is one of the universities where you can have a very fun and amazing life if you play your cards right.

I had doubts before joining Amity since there were various other universities in and out of UAE but after meeting the programme leader of my course all my doubts were cleared. Amity has an urban looking infrastructure with great ambience. The professors are very helpful and easy to communicate. They provide great market insights and prepare us for the future conditions. The media courses have one of the best professors with so much experience working with big companies. We regularly have industry trips where they take us to different major companies and show us how the media industry works. The sports facilities provided are of great quality. The negatives I felt as a student was food (excluding tim hortons❤) The last thing is about receiving an Indian Degree I’m not sure if it makes a difference. Overall Amity Dubai is a brilliant educational institution with amazing professors.

This university has a great vibe with its events and most of the great faculties, it also helps you to make a choice for your future, and I would recommend this university as I found my true subject.

Really good campus environment for you and friends to enjoy and study together. Lots of events to have fun. Good football ground and running tracks. Canteen food is not bad at a reasonable price. Faculties are friendly and understanding.

As far as I’m concerned…there are 2 things that I like the most about this university…the 1st one, of course, being the infrastructure…and the 2nd one being the fact that the number of subjects they cover every semester is a lot…so what they’re potentially doing is covering a wide range of topics related to the course…which could be a huge plus point while applying for jobs
