Almost every engineering course in ITU is harder than most of the other universities in Turkey. But It’s not necessarily bad. Not necessarily good. The reputation of the University is really great. But It’s hard to find time for personal things. At least It’s like this in hard courses.

One other problem I observed is, everyone on our Campus is an engineering student. Of course, most people will think that this is a good thing but I would prefer having people who study; philosophy, psychology, business, etc. I think that diversity would be better, then we could push ourselves for like reading more books or discussing more serious problems about life etc.

I love my university, there are infinite things to do and if you want to have fun and educate yourself ITU is the place for it. I would recommend it to everyone who wants the best for their time at university.

Istanbul Technical University takes place at the center of the European side of Turkey. Due to its location, it satisfies lots of advantages to students. It educates students in the technical and engineering field. One of the best university about networks with the abroad universities and exchange programs. Beside that, there are also lots of start up companies at the inside of the campus and they are willing to get students from ITU. So that, it is also possible and easy to keep working on a company at the same campus after your graduation.
