Overall, the educational level at VU is very high, but you have a lot of free time as the system is different from what you are used to. Students are expected to apply what they learn more theoretically and argumentatively, in contrast to the French system where students have to read and memorize countless texts.
My overall experience about the university has been quite positive. I am really impressed by the student life here. Specifically, I am quite amazed by the quality of education being offered here. I am doing my masters in International Technology Law and we have guest lectures from the experts in the industry which helps us in having a practical perspective apart from the theoretical knowledge alone.
