My university is called Rey Juan Carlos, located in Madrid, Spain. My faculty is from Social and Judicial Sciences. I’ve studied Marketing there and I would say the biggest highlight they have is all the projects, clubs and facilities there are. Classes are well equipped with technology and you have options to rent laptops and books all year round with no cost. Clubs like BICURJC help entrepeneurs and business-interested students to have a glimpse into what the industry may look like and start their journey in there. There are more clubs in there too that work the same and its the best thing the Univerisity has done. The director of the Univeristy help financially these clubs so they are properly supported. The only downfall is some of the teachers have really bad english level, and some of them lack teaching skills.

View moreThe campus is huge and quite beautiful with young teachers and sociable people. One negative thing could be that they do not explain you correctly things related to receipts. And the other thing could be that they do not usually organise social events among students in the campus like other universities do.
View moreStudying in URJC has been an average experience overall, organization and responsivennes is mostly low leading to a lower rating, as well as some courses that are unnecessary or lectures that are repeated semester after semester. Nevertheless, there are teachers and courses that make it all worthy, that actually prepare their classes and bring really good material regarding content as well as support materials and ideas.
Work load isn’t very high if you are consistent, but if you usually leave everything for the last week, you will have rough weeks before exams starts and might be tense during exam week.
The environment there is very nice, many people willing to get to know you, to create friendships and probably contacts for future projects.
I study at Rey Juan Carlos University, I am in my third year of my degree, I only have to do my internship next year and the TFG. I consider my degree to be very complete since I have studied both analytical and creative marketing, seeing how the logistics and distribution of a company work up to CRM and customer acquisition and loyalty techniques. I have carried out projects to create products, campaigns, new services, etc. So in general I can say that my degree is quite practical apart from being theoretical.
If I had to say something that I didn’t like about my university, it’s above all that it is public, they don’t pay much attention to the students, you can hardly complain or ask why since they are so many students, they don’t pay attention.
However, I recommend that other students take my degree, since I consider that in the academic field they are very professional, the basis of the degree is very complete and you end up very prepared for the world of work.
