To start with, the instructor was inexperienced and kept another full-time job, which translated into unprepared lectures that were really hard to follow.
The part-time bootcamp was sold to me as a great combination with my full-time job, which, turned into a nightmare as there was no actual time to keep up with the topics. I was able to dedicate the time required and finish the bootcamp due to the pandemic and losing my full-time job.
Before enrolling on this bootcamp I was promised that I will have the support needed to find a job after completion and get the full tuition refunded if I wasn’t hired after 6 months (with no conditions provided). Neither of those things happened. In fact, I was contacted by the career advisor when those 6 months were about to finish. She did not reach to give any career advice, it was clear that she wanted to make sure that I was informed that I wouldn’t get a refund as I did not meet the conditions (those were sent by email on the very last day of the bootcamp, email that went to the spam inbox, instead of having those in the contract, very professional). I couldn’t care less about the money, the most important part for me was that they didn’t show any interest about my job search until that time.
All the promises made at the very beginning was just pure marketing to get me into that bootcamp.
I wouldn’t recommend to anyone CodeOp.
