I consider the teaching is very good but they need more investment in resources and networking with the companies of the field. We felt we didn’t learn the “techincal” part of the degree, only the theory.

Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya is divided into schools, mine was ETSEIB. In my opinion, ETSEIB is a good school, it’s really hard but if you put effort on it, the result can be good.
To a new student there I would recommend doing some research to find the best class. Some lectures seem they don’t like to teach but some others will help you as much as they can.
Also, I would recommend to work hard and don’t pay for an extra lesson at an academy, it’s acceptable to fail there.
I would like more my university if they did more projects, learning by doing is the best way to learn.
One thing I don’t like about UPC is that there is the Industrial Engineering degree in two schools and in Barcelona it is more difficult but you end up with the same title.

The tutoring in the research process is very good.
This Phd belongs to the Institute of Sustainability. I think it is important that the institute has funded projects for research that help the doctoral student in his production.
