The campus is situated at a place where it makes it easier to focus, far from the noise. Lecturers and all Uni staff are very helpful and friendly. They help you go through your choices and support you when you have a problem through student counselling services. Great experience.

A dynamic place of learning where different people from different backgrounds share experiences in academics and cultureqp issues. An institution that shaped me to be the professional that I am today.

I respect Fort Hare’s historic legacy as a cradle of African leadership and intellectual thought, having educated many prominent figures in South African and continental history. However, the recent violent unrest where students set fire to key buildings and caused massive damage is deeply concerning and a serious setback for the institution’s mission and reputation. Given this context, I would only recommend Fort Hare with caution right now.Some lecturers are deeply committed and knowledgeable, especially in humanities and education, and they encourage critical thinking rooted in African perspectives. Campus life can feel vibrant during stable periods.

University of Fort Hare is one of tertiary institutions with huge African leaders history. It has produce many leaders of the south african country. Some the courses offered have no job on job market, you graduate and sit home with your education, without any capital to put into practice what you learned.
