I would recommend UNISA to someone that has studied before. UNISA is known for distance learning but it isn’t as easy as people may think. When you’re new to the university it absolutely confuses hand it’s difficult to navigate through picking majors as well as modules. I dislike the way you get to pick modules because as someone doing a degree, there should be the distinct modules that need to be done, you shouldn’t just choose from anywhere with no sense of direction.
View moreThe module is challenging but worth is career wise because there are many opportunities available once the Degree is complete. It is a fully online university where you get to study for assignments at your own pase and write exams online.
View moreMy experience was okay. The university struggled with its administration but the degree I studied was interesting, detailed and informative. I enjoyed the distance learning. It gave me the opportunity to refine skills of discipline and independence.
View moreThe University of South Africa has been an excellent platform, helping students achieve their goals. Their fees were set lower than most universities in the country. The distance learning programme is one of the many perks the University offers, online tutors available for your needs, group discussions among students, which I believe helped many gain more knowledge through being exposed by the different opinions of students, it was as if you were really taking part in class discussions.
View moreUnisa is a brilliant university for students that are actively taking part in the work force. In my opinion, person who works full time can easily complete their degree due to Unisas extremely flexible program and the due dates for assignments do not feel overwhelming. However, for a student who is unemployed, it can feel a bit slow. It is definitely a university for someone with a jam-packed schedule.
View moreUnisa is a university one should attend, when they are aware of their strengths. It requires a lot of discipline and time management skills you should have independently. The school offers distance learning and not many physical classes to attend. For students who need attention I would not recommend UNISA for you. The are mental health programmes that are sent via email, this is necessary a number of distance learners end up in depression easily. i would recommend this school to people who have part time jobs and are trying to manage work and school.
View moreI think the university is a good option for students who are working or have a lot of responsibilities as long as you have discipline
I love the convenience of online learning but i don’t like that their administration is not in order
Yes i would recommend it
I enjoy studying at UNISA because i get to do my stuff on the side, and it really motivates me to study because i do not attend day to day classes that makes it easy for me to push myself cause if i do not do that i will fail.
View moreIt can be better. I would recommend it to people who can study and pass without the help of a lecturer because that is what it is. The school website has a lot of glitches all the time. Some lecturers don’t communicate on what they expect from us students.
View moreI find the University of South Africa to be good as I am working. I do not have to attend classes every day, I mostly do my schoolwork on weekends. One of the advantages is that I can be able to pay for my studies as I work. It’s hard to network with other students as most of the school work is done online.
